Today, Sunday of the Veneration of the Holy Cross was celebrated with all due brightness, at St. Charalambos Church in Saranda, Northern Epirus.
Metropolitan Dimitrios of Gjirokastër officiated the Divine Liturgy, accompanied by clerics of the Holy Metropolis.
Metropolitan Dimitrios preached God’s Word and referred to today’s evangelical pericope.
Finally, it should be noted that a crowd of believers swarmed the Church and bowed with due respect before the Precious and Life Giving Cross.
