Bishop Sylvester of Gulu and Eastern Uganda of the Patriarchate of Alexandria had a car accident.
According to an announcement by the Diocese of Gulu, the accident took place yesterday after the Divine Liturgy for the feast of Pentecost, while the Bishop was traveling from the parish of St. Basil to that of St. Nectarios in North Gulu.
His health condition is stable and is being closely monitored by medical staff.
