Archbishop Elpidophoros of America, on the last two days was visited by the Greek Minister of Finance, Christos Staikouras, the Ministry of Shipping and Island Policy, Ioannis Plakiotakis and the Ambassador of Greece to Washington, Theocharis Lalacos.
The Archbishop thanked his honourable visitors for the sincere interest of the Greek Government in both the Church and the Hellenism of the USA, and assured them that the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America would always stand by the side of the Greeks all over the world.
Finally, they exchanged wishes for the upcoming Christmas celebration.
