Archbishop of Cyprus: Turkey is an implacable enemy

Archbishop Chrysostomos II of Cyprus

Archbishop Chrysostomos of Cyprus expressed his pessimism yesterday about finding a solution to the Cyprus issue.

According to ALPHA Cyprus, in yesterday’s Divine Liturgy, Archbishop Chrysostomos did not fail to comment on the latest developments in the Cyprus issue.

The Primate of Cyprus used a rather harsh language, describing the Turkish President as an “implacable enemy” who would “pay dearly in the end”, while also expressing his conviction that during his leadership a solution to the Cyprus problem could not be found.
