Archbishop of Cyprus: The foundation of the Theological School fulfills a sacred obligation to our ancestors and the historicity of our Church

In an emotional atmosphere and in the presence of a crowd of faithful, archpriests and clergy, there took place on Friday afternoon, June 21, the first graduation ceremony at the Theological School of the Church of Cyprus.

A life vision of the Primate of the Church of Cyprus becomes a reality. A vision that was also captured by the Grand ethnarch Makarios IΙΙ saying with his defiant and proud style that so “will be able to shine and radiate the light of Orthodoxy far beyond Cyprus…” The efforts of all those who were committed to the realization of this vision are redeemed with the first 17 graduates of the School, the first elected scientists to be delivered by the Church of Cyprus through its School for the service of the people of the island.

A commending “well done” to all those who offered this unforgettable evening and a “well done” to all the graduates of the School who made us really proud.
