A statement that will be discussed was made earlier in the morning by Archbishop Eirinaios of Crete, during the Divine Liturgy for the celebration of Saint Titus in Heraklion.
According to creta24.gr, during his sermon, the Archbishop called on the faithful not to wear masks inside the holy temples “so as not to imprison their faith”, as he characteristically said.
In any case, a large number of believers who attended Saint Titus in Heraklion today, wore masks inside the temple, observing the necessary protection measures.
