Archbishop Elpidophoros of America referred to his visit to Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew in Constantinople on the first day fo the new liturgical year.
As he posted on social media, “To be with the Ecumenical Patriarch, on the first day of the New Church Year, the Day of the Environment, is very special. The Phanar is more than the Sacred Center of our Faith.” He went on to say, “It is our home, the home of our father in Christ, who always welcomes us with the love of a parent.”
