Archbishop Anastasios of Albania thanked the Church of Romania and Patriarch Daniel for the assistance provided to the earthquake victims in 2019.
In a letter to the Primate of the Romanian Church, Archbishop Anastasios expresses his gratitude for the fraternal offer of 126,000€ in order to relieve the victims of the earthquake in Durres last November.
In fact, as Archbishop Anastasios states in his letter, “We want to express our deep gratitude for the fraternal initiative of Your Beatitude, which confirms the long tradition of the Church, that is, that “If one part suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honored, every part rejoices with it” (1 Cor. 12:26).
