Archbishop Anastasios of Tirana, Duress and All Albania was pronounced Honorary Senator of the European Academy of Sciences and Arts, seated in Salzburg, Austria.
In a special ceremony at the University of Salzburg, the European Academy of Sciences and Arts welcomed Archbishop Anastasios with honors, as a recognition of both his scientific and social-pastoral work.
In his brief addressing, Anastasios thanked them for their confidence in him, and expressed his hopes for a better world.
The European Academy of Sciences and Arts is a nongovernmental, European institution that promotes scientific and social progress.
Founded in 1990, its aims are innovative research, interdisciplinary and transnational cooperation, as well as knowledge exchange and distribution.
