Archbishop Anastasios of Albania had a pithy answer to the dilemma that many face regarding the use of masks in the churches, during the Divine Liturgy that took place at the Cathedral of the Resurrection of Christ in Tirana on Sunday, August 9, 2020.
“Let us wear the mask carefully to protect health,” Archbishop Anastasios advised the faithful, “persistently avoiding wearing the masks of any form of hypocrisy, which dangerously contaminates human relationships.”
The Archbishop of Albania concluded with the wish “May God grant us the right to face this ordeal as well.”
