Archbishop Job of Telmessos at Virgin Mary Church of Dobra in Veria

On Lazarus Saturday, Archbishop Job of Telmessos, Hierarch of the Ecumenical Patriarchate, visited Virgin Mary Church of Dobra in Veria, accompanied by Metropolitan Georgios of Kitros, Katerini and Platamon.

Metropolitan Panteleimon of Veria, Naousa and Kampania, the Primate of the Holy Church, Archimandrite Panteleimon Korfiotakis and the local Monastic brotherhood welcomed the Archpriests.

Archbishop Job bowed in front of the Icon of Virgin Mary Dobra, at the Cathedral of the Holy Church, the currently under construction St. Lucas the Doctor Church and the holy relics of the temple.

During his reverential visit, Job remembered his first visit to Imathia 10 years ago.  He was also informed about the history and the modern ministry of the Holy Church and gave his blessings to the members of the Brotherhood.

Form his part, Panteleimon provided the traditional monastic hospitality, guiding the Archpriests and their company, while he invited Job to participate in any of the local festives if his busy schedule allows it.
