The family of the St. John of Damascus Institute of Theology at the University of Balamand had a meeting with the Right Reverend Metropolitan Saba, on February 4, 2020.
The Metropolitan addressed many topics that challenge today’s youth, stressing the importance of moderation, to stay away from extremism or intolerance while avoiding blind acceptance and laxity.
Metropolitan Saba also answered the students’ questions, which revolved around the pastoral challenges that they will face in their future ministry. He emphasized active charity and the priest’s visits to his parish.
At the end of the meeting, the Metropolitan offered to the students his new book entitled “On the Old Testament, A Contemporary Christian Reading.”
