Archbishop of Australia Makarios reaffirmed that he would support the magnificent work being carried out by the Estia Foundation during a visit of the Archbishop to the premises of the foundation in Gladesville, Sydney, on Tuesday, November 12.
Estia Foundation of Australia was established by the Archdiocese of Australia and provides comprehensive care services to people with disabilities.
“Estia Foundation is one of the brightest jewels in the crown the Church has given me,” said the Archbishop of Australia, stressing that he will always be by the side of those people and support their work with love, fondness and understanding.
After praising the work carried out by the people of Estia Foundation, the Archbishop gave them his blessing so that they continue their work.
He shared with them his anxiety about the serious problem of drug addiction and talked about his plan to establish a rehabilitation centre in Sydney under the Holy Archdiocese.
